Today I will write about stress management through cooking. I realized this during the lock down days. Any household word you do regularly, will make you manage your stress better. Be it doing the dishes or cooking some nutritious food for family, it will really settle you down no matter how much stressful the situation is.
While cooking specially, you have to focus properly and make the food in right quantity for those many people and also the taste should be perfect. Perfect taste comes only when you put right spices in the right quantities.
And you should be cooking for someone else. Not for yourself. When you are alone, you are ok with bread butter and instant noodles and a cup of tea. But when You are cooking for someone else, then you have to make something that's reasonably nutritious and tasty too.
One of the biggest stress busters is the cooking. Irrespective of the gender, everyone should cook for others in the family every now and then. Especially when you lack patience, you must try cooking for your family. It takes really a lot of patience. In such cases, you should cook for 8 days continuously. No repetitive dishes. Today one dish and the next day something equally healthy and attractive. Your patience level should increase by at least 25%.
My family loves Masala Paapad and Paneer Butter Masala made by me. Also KandePohe. That's my specialty. I have to make Kandepohe every now and then. Its a famous common marathi dish.
