My Daily Blog Jan 11, 2024

11 days have passed already of this new year 2024. Time is so fast. Today, I had to attend to my kid. She is a little unwell. But she was happy throughout the day. She did not go to school. Reason for happiness. I cooked her favorite food. She loved it.

I could not go for my walk. I want to get started. I have wasted a lot of time already.

I managed my day. My office work as well as some household work.

My father is law surprised us by bringing some Pani puri for us. We enjoyed it. Every Thursday, my husband fasts the whole day. So, I cook heavy dinner every Thursday evening.

I have a meeting at 11 pm tonight. So, I will be late to sleep. But it does not happen very often. Only a few times in one or 2 months. Can't complain.

See you tomorrow.

Poem- Mother

A poem on Mother they said
Language was no barrier
As if the entity 'Mother'
Actually knows some barrier...

Religion caste color
Nationalities even species
This one entity
Remains universal

Baby ducks follow her,
A baby monkey clings to her
A baby kangaaru's VIP seat
None of them needs a trainer

Stretch marks and labour
Meal and medicine timer
A bit Loss of health and hair
Sleepless nights for a toddler
Moods and craziness of a teenager
Basically Mother is a all knower

Strong & steady like a Rock
Delicate like a flower
She is definition of love,
True Strength and Valor

Mother is a mirror image of almighty
So many God Mirrors surround us
Her keen eyes look after this universe
Divine omnipresence is actually all about her

Only an alive mother
Can sustain a living being
Sun & mother earth
are surely not dead entities

Mom, Grandmom, mother land
& mother tongue ..who can forget them
Mother nature keeps bestowing
Without asking you to repay..

By the time you understand
the meaning of word 'mother'
You are already dealing with
Your own little monster

Even if a male
You are no less a mother
(Sometimes even better)
as You are made up of both
Half a father & half a mother

So now you are a mirror image of god
Caring for your honey little angels
Suddenly you have become a living legend
And Not just your mom's little angel

Mischievous smile of your mom and dad
Will show you how karma have returned
Little bundle of joy in your arms will tell you
How easily this world is conquered
