My Daily Blog- Jan 8, 2024

I am so happy that I could complete nearly 12,500 steps today. It was not bad for day 1. I had 3 meals in the day. I should have only 2 meals in 24 hours. It will reduce the fasting insulin and HBa1c. It activates glucagon which is basically the fat burning hormone. It is activated only when your frequency of eating is reduced. 

The concept of breakfast is foreign to Indians. Breakfast is actually very bad. You can have early lunch/ Brunch but only lunch and dinner. No breakfast or snacks.

My Mom says only those who have woken up at 4 am and have done some really good physical exercises, should have breakfast. People waking up at 8am do not need breakfast. They just need to dress up and show up in office and manage the day somehow. God!! Moms know everything.  

Anyway, I walked 5k steps in the morning and 6K in the evening. My legs were shaking when I hit 11k mark. I sat on a bench for a while and felt like eating chocolate. But we have enough calories stored inside us. This leg-shaking and all is just body's reaction.

My house is nearly 1000 Sq. Feet. And while doing household work, I have observed that I usually walk 1500 steps while doing laundry and cooking and cleaning etc. I carried my mobile everywhere to count this in my pocket. Nowadays, I keep my phone away. Bluetooth headphones. So, I can count those 1500 steps in addition. The gadget is not with you all the time. I can have a fit-bit wristband too. I think I can borrow it from my husband. I bought it for him on his birthday. He has other wrist watch which he prefers while going to office. That one was too a birthday gift from me. yeeyy!! I already have the fitbit wristband..

I had 1700 calories in total. Not bad. I burnt nearly 600 calories. I finished my dinner by 8.15 PM. The most surprising thing was that I walked without headphones in the evening. Low battery. 

I walked slowly today. In the morning I could have finished a lot many steps. But I had severe back pain till evening. After 5pm it vanished on its own. So, I decided I will complete my steps in the evening. 

 Lets see how I perform tomorrow. I have decided that I will focus on doing some action next 21 days without worrying about results. Feeling good. I think I will fall asleep sooner today due to physically active day. I hope I sleep for at least 6 hours.
