Got Published!

 Hello Everyone,

I feel humble and happy at the same time to share the news ...22-2-22 will remain a special memory for me as My First book got published by #Bookleaf publications. I participated in #Writethon Poetry Competition held by #Bookleaf Publishing and I happened to write 30 Poems in 30 days. Those poems have now been published as my individual book.

Begging Bowl

So many windows & doors around
Begging Bowl felt sheer happiness
Started begging for some
Love, friendship and kindness

That door will deliver sweets & happiness

& that window will share its warm space

Can expect lifelong support right there

& No doubt that door is all sheer greatness

Soon things became business

World started revealing its ugliness

Life became senseless & merciless

Everything looked meaningless

Begging Bowl was now starving

It started feeling sick & lifeless

Windows & Doors were still there

But Full of bitter wickedness

Bowl finally gave up begging

Sadly asked for Divine Grace

Divine playfully made him look inside

It suddenly realized its foolishness

You need to be a Fountain yourself

To Dispell the Darkness

If you keep Begging and pleading

You wont realize your greatness

Begging Bowl gave up its smallness

Stopped asking for justice & fairness

It digged well within the self

& realized its calm, bright vastness

Soon it became a fountain

The joy and love was endless

The same windows & Doors

Rewarded it with love & fondness

Beg and you won't get a penny

a Saint's quote was truly priceless

Give with heartfelt thankfullness

And what you get is limitless...endless..
