It just pulls you away from yourself..
It is such a relief when you are not in such state of mind..We nurture these wants unknowingly. its such a big burden.
People who are by themselves are more peaceful and hence more productive and creative. They are happier also.
People these days want to post everything online. it promotes superficiality in a personality. The depth is hampered..
Before you go deep within yourself.. dont be in a rush to go viral..
Needless to say.. its a momentary pleasure..
But its not just that... it also make you lose a deep experience. There is an unusual depth in our personality. We forget to explore that part in this rush of being social. I am not against social media.
I read a statement by a hollywood star -''People buy expensive things they dont need, only to flaunt them to the people who deeply hate them.''
Its so true. These days we hardly see a person who nurtures deep feelings for the things he or she has bought. Because mostly they buy them with a sense of competition.
This is so true. Do the people really like you when they are hitting that 'like' button? ( yes..There are people who truly feel love n pride for you.. not that everyone is a police.. ) But how many of them have true and deep feelings?
You know why do we like old movies, old songs?? Why cant today's songs or movies make a long lasting impact like older ones?? Moreover They did not have technological support that we have today.
Its because their attempt was very honest. Full of sincereity. It was not only to impress the audience and grab the market. It was pure expression of talent and hard work. Whereas we have to make 100 efforts just to catch the attention of audience.
We also have exceptions. Actors like Ameer khan, Tom Cruise who never got any award.. but always win hearts. Because they are fully expressing their talent... there is no rush of awards.. and recognition...
People like A R Rehman also spend a lot of time with themselves..
Our generation is developing this superficiality amongst ourselves.. It could be also because we have not been given a chance or time to go deep within ourselves... life is a race ..remember ??
We are selling dimonds to buy peanuts. We need to slow down a bit and keep exploring deeper experiences within ourselves. We can first fully digest the learning, the creativity, the idea before we bring it out. And then allow it to blossom gently. We need to allow the roots to go deeper.
