My husband was asking me to watch some web series. I had seen the trailer already. And my mind immediately felt annoyed with it. Personally I don't like to see violence in an artistic craft. 

These days it is very difficult to keep the viewers stick to the same channel for even an hour. Because there are so many options. So they put lots of make up, High Definition cameras and loud music and all glittery stuff. Affairs of the stars are also set up to keep the audience wondering about a movie or show.

Then there has to be a lot of thrill in the story. Else the audience will leave you. So violence, mentally sick characters, loud thrilling music becomes important. Human mind these days wants to have thrill everywhere. Because the basic needs are easily available. 

Remember the time when you waited for a cycle for a year or so. These days parents buy cycle even before kid has asked for it. So their thrill is also gone in 2 days.

This "Thrill" is so dear to human mind that the extra marital affairs are also increasing these days. They are unknowingly wondering only for thrill. Its just that couples find it thrilling. Young individuals quickly change their boyfriend/Girlfriend. The only thing that has become important is the "Thrill"

Surprisingly, the best of the movies have least violence. Even in Avengers Endgame, they have shown war scenes but its not like these aghast situations shown in some of the web series.

Social media gives a feeling of recognition and its kind of a intoxication. Thrill!!  If you don't get a like or a comment every one hour, you feel uneasy. And all this has become a part of our life. We are getting used to it. Its like drugs. If you don't get recognized, you feel the withdrawal symptoms. (In extreme cases).

It's called the 'attention economy'. The more you seek attention the more you will be on social media and 'social media economy'is sustained.

We are continuously wondering for Thrill and Recognition.

So this is a definition of problem. What could be the solution?

I think we as young generation, should watch lesser of violent movies. Do not be in a rush to publish your art. Also, don't get disheartened if you are feeling less recognized on social media. It is so gripping our mind that we can reach a stage of suicidal tendency. 

Don't be in a rush. Slow down.

This is important that we maintain the delicate thread of love inside us. This thread keeps us connected to the truthful loving energy which sustains this universe.

It sustains the beauty. It sustains the charm in your personality.

Be in love..  Slow Down.
